The St. Cloud Times reported that the popular beach in Avon, MN is now authorized to use park dedication fees to restore to popular swimming hole, a project estimated at $65,000 by officials.
According to Chuck Wocken, Stearns county parks director: "This is the first time townships have authorized the use of park fees collected within their borders for a project outside of their township since the county adopted its parkland dedication ordinance six years ago."
