With the budget debate heating up in St. Paul, local residents across the state are keeping a close eye on their elected officials. The Brainerd Dispatch reported that protestors and supporters were both outside Senator Paul Gazelka’s insurance agency office in Baxter.
From the Brainerd Dispatch:
“The rally apparently started as a gathering at Gazelka’s insurance agency office in Baxter by union members and supporters. When supporters of Gazelka got wind of the event they organized their own counter-rally, supporting the first-term Republican senator.”
