Bemidji Pioneer: Sanford Center amends budget

The City of Bemidji’s 185,000 square foot Sanford Center has changed its 2011 budget deficit from $338,718 to $417,138, a roughly $80,000 difference due to a change in accounting styles. The article notes that the advertising projections and revenues contributed to the change. Sanford Center director Bob LeBarron summed it up nicely when he said, “It’s not just the revenue side. It’s the expense side we need to watch carefully, too.”
