The headline from the Brainerd Dispatch says it all: Foreclosures not slowing down. Homeowners in Brainerd and the Crow Wing County area are feeling the effects of the housing crisis as foreclosures hit all time highs in the area.
According to the paper: “This year, the foreclosures have already equaled numbers posted in 2009 by the end of June and surpassed the half-year number of foreclosures recorded in 2010.”
Unfortunately, like the trend across the country, there does not appear to be a quick fix or an end in sight.
