FFM in the news FFM’s recent report on taxpayer-funded lobbying continues to have reverberations across the state. The report exposed how Minnesota’s local governments spend millions of dollars to lobby the federal government, and how state law allows them to do this “under the radar” without attracting taxpayer scrutiny. The Star Tribune featured FFM’s recent report this past Sunday, getting Congressman John Kline and several local government officials to weigh in. And the Sunshine Review Blog ran a great piece on the report on Wednesday, focusing on the government transparency issues. In other news, KARE 11 included FFM’s perspective in their storyon liberal advocacy group Environment Minnesota’s report claiming that global warming is causing extreme weather. And finally, FFM’s Jonathan Blake is on the Say Anything Morning Show with host Rob Port every Friday morning at 7:10am. The show is on AM 1100 The Flag, a great talk station out of Fargo. If you’re not in the area, you can stream the show live at the Say Anything Blog. |
