From our friends at the Morning Dispatch: “The elections process in Georgia has been the source of much partisan bickering in recent years, with politicians on both sides of the political aisle claiming foul play when certain races didn’t go their way.”
Now that the entire country (or at least those active on Twitter) has become an election law expert, feel free to read this fact-base rebuttal of the hideous claims made against the newly enacted Georgia election law… It’s also illuminating to learn that Stacey Abrams, the failed 2018 gubernatorial candidate who has yet to concede defeat, “secured the JimCrow2.com domain on March 10 [2021] more than two weeks before [governor] Kemp signed SB202 [the Georgia election law changes] bill into law.
One can only assume that Delta Air Lines CEO was too busy to read the bill before he declared that he needed to make it “crystal clear that the final bill is unacceptable and does not match Delta’s values.”
Makes you wonder whose values Delta Airlines does “align” with.
