The Annie E. Casey Foundation, hardly a member of the vast-right wing conspiracy, produces an annual report card on our nation’s schools.
The recently released report shows that in last year, only “49.9% of [Minnesota] students are meeting or exceeding their grade level.
That same report indicated that the results of each assessment area remained roughly 10 percentage points below their pre-pandemic levels.”
These results occurred despite strastopheric K-12 spending increases demanded by the DFL Trifecta that controlled ALL of state government for the past two years.
It’s also important to note where Minnesota teachers’ focus is these days.
According to an article on their national convention currently being held, “National Education Association members will vote on several anti-Israel resolutions at the union’s annual “Representative Assembly” in Philadelphia this week, including the adoption of an official position holding that Israel is conducting a “genocide” in Gaza.”
Good to see that our public school teachers are still focused on students and learning.
