Red Wing residents shared their opinions on the Mississippi National Golf Course at a public meeting Tuesday. The city has proposed selling the course, and many would like to see it remain a golf course. Said city finance director Marshall Hallock, “There are numerous conditions on any sale (of Mississippi National) that protect the citizens’ interest in retaining a public golf course. The irony here is that we both want that.”
