ROSEMOUNT: No neighborhood tattoo parlors please

It looks like “body art” won’t be coming to Rosemount residential areas anytime soon. Last week, the city council voted to prohibit tattoo and piercing parlors that operate out of homes. Neighboring cities, including Apple Valley, Burnsville, and Eagan, are reviewing their policies as well. 

From the article: “Prior to the new 2010 state law, the city allowed body art businesses to operate out of the home, but the issue never surfaced because no applications were received for such a use.”
