As we start gathering our tax materials for 2024 to render even more unto Caesar, our friends at the Tax Foundation released their latest data on who pays what.
Just a refresher for Minnesotans:
- Forty-two states levy individual income taxes
- Forty-one tax wage and salary income
- And most importantly: Eight states, including New Hampshire, which repealed its interest and dividends tax in 2025, levy no individual income tax at all”
- And finally: 14 [states] have single-rate tax structures, with one rate applying to all taxable income.
