‘This Isn’t Activism, It’s Anti-Intellectualism’

You may have heard of Cornell Law School professor William Jacobson: he’s the researcher who received national political attention by proving there was no factual basis for the claim made by then-law professor Elizabeth Warren who described her “high-cheekbones” as evidence of her Cherokee ancestry.

He has also earned the wrath of anti-Israel BDS proponents who inhabit a lot of important positions inside higher education.

Recently, Professor Jacobson has become the focus of Cornell students who are urging the administration to fire him and urging students to boycott his classes at the law school.

He has earned the wrath of Black Lives Matters (BLM) activists by publishing his opinions on the BLM movement.  While he invited BLM activists at the university to debate, they declined and instead have been urging Cornell administrators to “critically examine the views of the individuals they intent to employ.”
